Nafplio (Ναύπλιο) is a seaport town in the Peloponnese in Greece and was the first capital of modern Greece, from 1829 to 1834.

I am going to post some links from now on, since I don't write often (and nobody does in this group), I might as well try to post what I have read that may be of interests to our readers.

Thanks very much for the link! And looking at your photos, I'm thinking that some aspects of Taiwan and Greece seem very similar. Some of the shots you have here look a lot like the east coast of Taiwan, aside from the architecture and some of the plant life. Very interesting!

Yes both countries have mountains and sea / ocean, and earthquakes...but Taiwan's hillside is over developed, over here as soon as you get out of the city, most of the hillside remains untouched.

We have no typhoons but occasionally strong winds bring desert sand from north Africa, summer is almost always sunny and quite dry, very easy to have forest fire problem.
